If you suspect your city or county government has been infiltrated, and has made itself a partner in an unholy alliance, you can start with this documentation:
1. Show municipal membership in the US Conference of Mayors or the ICLEI or both. It may be that only a member of the government is a member of the organization. This is done to obfuscate the city's participation. Look up your mayor's name on usmayors.org.
2. Provide links to a few dozen of their communist manifestos. Include links to collaborative documents like this one or this one. Use this search tool. Save the web pages and files to your computer, just in case someone decides to wipe them off the Internet, or deny you access to them. Back up your work to CD's in case they send jack-booted thugs to confiscate your computer.
3. Show the city signed on to them.
4. Show the city's implementations of their totally whacked "environmental" agendas. You are going to suffer land loss by any zoning change. The SWMP & Related Ordinances are utterly embedded and steeped with the philosophy of communism, er, "Climate Protection".
5. Point out Article 1, Section 10 of the US Constituion (not that they care about it):
- "No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation ..."
- "No State shall, without the Consent of Congress ... enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power"
If a State is not allowed to do these things, how is a municipality? USCM may skirt the issue by not being "formally" bound to the ICLEI. But certainly in intent (if not in letter) cities are violating this article.
6. Shout very loudly! I dunno, community organize? Egad!
Just because the City of Norman used to pay for easements and eminent-domain claims, doesn't mean it still does, or ever will again.
The City of Norman is a proud sponsor of the US Mayors'/UN's climate protection agreement.
