Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalm 33:12
The purpose of these silly pages is to document the unholy alliance of municipal governments, like the one in Norman, Oklahoma, and the pro-slavery movement. No one likes to spend the time looking this stuff up - governments are supposed to be champions and guardians of liberty. We all have things we'd rather be doing. Maybe what I've found will help you out.
What prompted this accusation of unholy alliance? Not malice, but simply the mountain of facts. To call what I've found an accusation is a mischaracterization of very simple facts. What I have said about unholy alliance is just a statement of fact.
"First of all, developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community. But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole"."
- OTTMAR EDENHOFER, United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Nov 2010
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," "That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," - BARAK OBAMA, Candidate for President of the United States of America, May 2008
